Security and confidentiality are top priorities at Versus Talent Profile. We understand the importance of protecting our users’ personal data and are committed to the highest standards of data privacy and security, starting with the rules of the European GDPR / RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) that came into force on May 15, 2018. We do the same with the Swiss nLPD, which came into force on September 1, 2023.
Our psychometric tools, among which we find PersProfile, SalesTest, or JobVision, are designed with robust security mechanisms to guarantee the confidentiality of information. Take test results management, for example. The data collected includes not only respondents’ results, but also basic information such as the test model taken, the date and time it was taken, the language chosen, response times, and much more.
All this information is encrypted to ensure its protection.
The complex encryption ensures that only authorized persons can access the decrypted information and interpret the evaluation results.
Here are some of the measures we take to guarantee data security and confidentiality:
Prior consent: On arrival at our test server, respondents are asked to give their consent to the recording of their personal data, and are informed of Versus’ commitments with regard to confidentiality regulations.
Data encryption: All personal and sensitive data is encrypted using state-of-the-art technology. This ensures that information can only be read by authorized persons or systems.
RGPD and nLPD compliance: We fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and the nLPD, ensuring that all user data is processed lawfully, transparently and securely.
Controlled access: Access to data is strictly controlled and limited to those who need it for their work.
Secure Storage: Data is stored only temporarily and for a limited time, before being deleted in accordance with our RGPD privacy commitments. And during this short period, data resides on secure servers, protected by firewalls and advanced monitoring systems to prevent unauthorized access.
Training and awareness: our customers and users are regularly briefed on data security and privacy best practices to ensure that all safeguards are respected at home too. Versus’ role is to provide an assessment result, but not to ensure its retention beyond a short period of time.
By using our assessment tools, you can rest assured that your information and that of your employees and candidates is optimally protected. The security of your data is our priority, and we do everything in our power to maintain your trust. However, it’s up to you to take care of confidentiality and security on your own data servers. But you know how to do that, and each of you has developed your own method.
