Social desirability is our tendency to answer questions in such a way as to be perceived favorably by others. Two examples:

➡️ Imagine a candidate for a sales position who, during an interview, exaggerates his or her communication skills to appear more competent.

➡️ Or an employee who, in an appraisal questionnaire, answers in a way that reflects what he thinks his employer wants to hear.

Extraverts can’t stand the status quo. For them, “in statu quo ante” is synonymous with immobility and stagnation. Their energy, desire to socialize and constant need for novelty make them natural catalysts for change.

Pierre-Yves, a young digital marketing professional, excels in creative campaigns but struggles with administrative details.
